Accounts, saving, and sharing

Routing24 plans are stored with your account. The app opens without an account. This page covers saving, signing in, where plans are stored, and sharing a finished plan.
Saving is automatic
There is no save button. The plan saves continuously as you edit. The badge next to the plan name in the header reads SAVED, SAVING, or UNSAVED. Every saved plan appears on the My Plans page. The Home page lists your recent ones.
Signing in
The Start Trial and Log In buttons are in the header. Sign up with Google, or with an email address and a password. Every new account starts a trial with no credit card. See Plans and billing.
A plan you saved without an account transfers to your account when you sign up in the same browser.
Where plans are stored
Routing24 stores plans with your account, not with the machine. Build the plan on the office laptop, then open it later on a tablet.
Sharing and the paid tiers
You can share two things:
- Export to Excel downloads the full routing plan and all settings as an Excel workbook you can send to anyone.
- Share route sends a driver a link that opens their route in the phone's web browser, described in Drivers & the Mobile View.
