Accounts, saving, and sharingCopy link

You can plan and optimize in Routing24 without signing up; plans save as you go. An account makes plans available on any browser or device, and is required for sharing routes with drivers.

Saving is automaticCopy link

There is no save button. As you edit, the plan saves continuously; the badge next to the plan name in the header reads SAVED, SAVING, or UNSAVED. Every saved plan appears on the My Plans page, and the Home page lists your recent ones.

Without an accountCopy link

Open Routing24 and start planning. With no account you can do the full loop: import stops, describe your fleet, optimize, edit routes by hand, and export the result to Excel.

Your plans save under an anonymous profile that lives in this browser.

Anonymous plans stay in this browser

Without an account, your saved plans open only on the computer and browser where you made them. Clear the browser data and they are gone. Create a free account to keep plans beyond this browser.

If you already have plans saved in your browser, they will be automatically transfered to your newly created account.

What a free account addsCopy link

Sign up with Google, or with an email address and a password.

  • Cross-device access. Plan on the office laptop, check it later on a tablet.
  • Storage is account-bound. Plans are stored with your account, not with the machine.
  • Access to the paid tiers. Route sharing with drivers, Google Maps, and the advanced planning rules are part of the paid tiers, and you can try the paid planning features a few times for free.

Sharing, and where the tiers come inCopy link

Two things can be shared:

  • Export to Excel: the full solution and all settings as Excel workbook you can send to anyone.
  • Share route sends a driver a link that opens their route on their phone, no app install. Route sharing is part of the Starter plan. On the free tier you can try it a few times; the dialog shows how many free tries remain.

Privacy and your data

Your plan data is stored in your account's data region and used to build and run your plans, not sold or repurposed. For the full detail, see Privacy and data handling.
