Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 24, 2026
This version of the Terms reflects three significant changes to the service. Routing24 offers user accounts and stores the route plans you save while signed in; earlier versions described an essentially stateless tool and no longer apply. Routing24 now offers AI features, which send parts of your data to third-party AI providers when you use them; Section 7 sets out what that means for you. And the Free plan is now licensed for learning, education, evaluation, non-commercial, and non-profit use only; Section 4 states the terms.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Routing24.com ("we," "us", "our", or "Routing24"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the service. Routing24.com is provided to you by Routinghub LLC, a Delaware company (7159503) registered at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware, 19958, County of Sussex, United States.

2. Description of Service

Routing24 is a tool for optimizing multi-vehicle, multi-stop routes. You can import orders and fleet data in a variety of formats (.XLSX, Google Calendar™, etc.) and generate optimized routes, which you can then download. Routing24 also offers user accounts, which let you save and reload route plans across sessions and devices, and create shared links so others can view the plans you publish. Routing24 further offers a built-in AI chat and an MCP server that lets an AI assistant of your choice work with your data. Both are optional, both are governed by Section 7, and neither is used unless you choose to use it.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

You may register an account using either an email address and password, the “Sign in with Google” flow, or another authentication provider we may support. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. The information you provide at registration must be accurate and kept up to date. Each account is for use by a single person — please do not share your account credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us promptly at support@routing24.com if you become aware of unauthorized access.

4. License, Plans, and Permitted Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Routing24 service, including accessing the plans you save under your account and using the sharing features the service provides. The scope of that license depends on the plan you are on. Your use must be lawful and in full compliance with these Terms in either case.
Paid plans (Starter and Pro). On a paid plan, the license covers your internal business and commercial purposes, such as planning and optimizing the logistics and delivery routes of your own operation.
Free plan. The Free plan is licensed for learning, education, evaluation and trial, non-commercial, and non-profit use only. That covers, for example, teaching yourself or others how route optimization works, coursework and academic study, research, trying Routing24 out to decide whether to buy it, personal planning that is not part of a business, and the work of a registered charity or non-profit organisation.
Commercial use is not licensed under the Free plan. Using Routing24 to plan, dispatch, or run the routes of a commercial operation, whether your own or someone else’s, and whether or not you charge for it, requires a paid plan or a written grant from us under the paragraph below. Evaluating Routing24 against your real data in order to decide whether to buy a paid plan remains within the Free plan; putting it into day-to-day operational service does not.
Our discretion over the Free plan. The Free plan is offered as a courtesy and not as a contractual entitlement. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without being required to give a reason, to limit, restrict, suspend, or withdraw access to the Free plan for any user or group of users, and to change what the Free plan includes. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice where doing so is practicable, but we are not obliged to. Nothing in this paragraph affects a paid plan you have already paid for.
Discretionary commercial-use grants. We also reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to grant any Free plan user a commercial-use license on terms we set, including free of charge. Such a grant is valid only if we give it to you in writing, applies only to the user and the use it names, and may be revoked by us at any time. A grant to one user creates no obligation, precedent, or entitlement for any other user, or for the same user on any later occasion. If you believe your use case warrants one, contact us at support@routing24.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Routing24 responsibly and lawfully. You must not:
(a) Upload data that violates any applicable law or regulation, or that you do not have a lawful basis to process. When you upload customer addresses and contact details, you act as the data controller for that data and Routing24 acts as your processor.
(b) Introduce malicious software or attempt unauthorized access to Routing24 infrastructure, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.
(c) Rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or otherwise provide paid access to the Routing24 service to any external third party.
(d) Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary rights notices affixed to or contained within the service.
(e) Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download shared route links, or otherwise use them to collect personal data about the end customers whose addresses appear in those plans.
(f) Use data uploaded to or generated by the service - including addresses or contact details obtained via shared links - to send unsolicited communications to the end customers whose data appears in those plans.
(g) While using the Free plan, access or interact with Routing24 through any automated or artificial-intelligence means, including bots, scripts, headless browsers, programmatic or API calls, and scrapers. The Free plan is intended for direct, manual use by an individual through the web interface. The AI features Routing24 itself provides, namely the built-in chat and the MCP server described in Section 7, are not covered by this restriction and may be used on whichever plans we make them available on. Automated, programmatic, and AI-driven access generally is expressly permitted on any paid plan, subject to the rest of these Terms.
(h) Use the Free plan for any purpose outside the scope licensed in Section 4, or misrepresent the nature of your use in order to stay on it.

6. User Content and Sharing

You retain all rights to the data you upload or import into Routing24. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your data solely to operate and provide the service to you and to make the sharing features work as designed.
When you share your routes with authorized drivers, you make the contents of that plan accessible to these accounts. You are solely responsible for the contents of any plan you share, including any personal data of end customers it contains, and you confirm that you have a lawful basis to share that data. We do not actively monitor shared plans, but we reserve the right to remove access that violates these Terms.
Routing24 does not use the data you upload to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and does not permit the providers we contract with for the built-in chat to do so. This commitment cannot extend to an AI assistant you connect yourself through our MCP server, which is governed by Section 7. Your data is stored securely, is accessible only through your user account and the people you authorise, and is subject to automatic deletion at the end of the applicable retention period described in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers

Routing24 offers two AI features. Both are optional. Using either one means that data you have put into Routing24 leaves Routing24 and is processed by parties other than us. This section states who those parties are and how responsibility is divided. Our Privacy Policy describes the same flows in data-protection terms.
a) The built-in AI chat. The chat is available to signed-in users. When you use it, your messages and the parts of your plan needed to answer them, which can include addresses, customer names and contact details, and order, vehicle, and route data, are sent to Cloudflare, Inc., which authenticates the request and applies the limits attached to your plan, and then to Google, which provides the model that answers. If you do not accept this, do not use the built-in chat.
b) The MCP server. Routing24 exposes an MCP server so that an AI assistant of your choice can read and modify your Routing24 data on your instruction. Connecting one requires a deliberate act by you: minting an access key in the application, or approving a consent screen for the client that asked. You can revoke either at any time from your account, and doing so immediately stops further access by that client. You are responsible for every action taken under your account by an assistant you have connected, including data it changes or deletes, exactly as if you had taken that action yourself. Treat an MCP key as a credential under Section 3.
c) Your AI provider is not our subcontractor. When you connect an assistant, the provider operating it, which may be Anthropic PBC, OpenAI OpCo, LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Google, or another operator, receives the Routing24 data that assistant requests. That provider’s handling of your data is governed by the agreement between you and them, not by these Terms. We have no contractual relationship with them in respect of your use, we do not control their retention, their location of processing, or whether they train on your inputs, and we cannot delete data from them on your behalf. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that the provider you choose is an acceptable recipient of the data in your account, including any personal data of your end customers. Where you act as a data controller for that personal data, connecting an assistant is your disclosure to that provider, and obtaining any lawful basis for it is your responsibility.
d) AI output is not advice, and is not guaranteed. AI features can produce results that are incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your operation. Review what an assistant produces before you rely on it or dispatch against it. The disclaimer and limitation of liability in Sections 14 and 15 apply to AI features in full.
e) Availability. AI features depend on third-party providers, and we may change the providers or models we use, change which plans a feature is available on, or withdraw a feature, at any time.

8. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. The current service stores the account data, route plans, and related content you create while signed in, as detailed in that Policy; any prior statement in earlier versions of these Terms that no coordinates or files are stored is superseded by this version.

9. Account Suspension, Termination, and Data Deletion

You may close your account at any time by emailing our Data Protection Officer at denis@routing24.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach. On termination, your user content will be deleted within 30 days of a verified request, subject to the legal-hold exceptions described in our Privacy Policy, and any shared route links you created will be revoked.

10. Fees and Subscriptions

Routing24 is offered on a Free plan and on paid Starter and Pro plans, billed monthly as described at the point of purchase. The Free plan requires no credit card and no trial, and is licensed only for the purposes set out in Section 4. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period through your chosen payment method, unless you cancel before the renewal date. If a payment fails, we may suspend or restrict access to paid features until payment is made.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account's billing settings. If you upgrade from the Free plan or from a lower paid plan, we charge you immediately and your billing cycle starts on the day of the upgrade. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges while leaving your access in place until the end of the period already paid for. Downgrading your plan may cause the loss of features or capacity, and Routing24 accepts no liability for such loss.
Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates), our payment processor. Routing24 is the seller and merchant of record for these transactions and handles billing-related customer service and refunds directly. Applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax) may be added at checkout and are remitted to the relevant authorities. Your payment details are collected and processed securely by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full card or payment-instrument details.
Except as set out in the Refund Policy below, fees paid are non-refundable.

11. Fair Use Policy (Starter and Pro Plans)

Google Maps™ features available on Starter and Pro plans — including interactive map tiles and Street View™ imagery — are subject to a fair use policy. Google charges us per map load and per Street View™ panorama, and while your subscription includes a quota for normal use, excessive or abusive usage may result in additional fees or account action as described below. Google Maps™, Google Calendar™ and Street View™ are trademarks of Google LLC.
What is included. Your subscription includes Google Maps™ and Street View™ usage consistent with the normal, day-to-day operation of a route-planning workflow for your fleet. "Normal use" means interacting with Google Maps™ and Street View™ as an individual user in the course of planning, reviewing, and sharing routes — comparable in volume to what a regular logistics user generates while actively working within the service. We do not limit the number of user logins or team accounts under a subscription.
What is not included. Automated or mass-level access to Google Maps™ or Street View™ is not covered by your subscription. You must not use scripts, bots, headless browsers, automated pipelines, or any other programmatic means to generate Google Maps™ or Street View™ loads in bulk through your account. Examples include, but are not limited to: automated screenshot capture, systematic tile harvesting, batch geocoding via the map interface, or AI agents triggering map or panorama loads at scale.
Additional fees for excessive use. If your account's Google Maps™ or Street View™ consumption materially exceeds the normal use threshold, we reserve the right to charge additional fees to recover the costs incurred. Any such additional fee will be determined on a case-by-case basis and communicated to you in advance where reasonably practicable. We also reserve the right to recalculate and adjust your monthly subscription fee prospectively to reflect sustained high usage, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any such adjustment takes effect.
Account termination. Mass-level automation of Google Maps™ or Street View™ access through your account — regardless of intent — may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account under Section 9 of these Terms. This restriction exists because such usage can expose us to significant third-party costs and may also violate Google's own terms governing the APIs we use.
If you have a high-volume use case that involves frequent map or Street View™ access, please contact us at support@routing24.com before deploying it so we can discuss an appropriate arrangement.

12. Refund Policy

Refunds for Routing24 are governed by this Refund Policy. If local consumer protection laws provide you with additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights will always apply. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your mandatory consumer rights. For any question about a refund, or to request one, contact us at support@routing24.com.

12.1. Global refund policy

Unless required by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
We may issue refunds on a discretionary basis (see "Discretionary refunds" below) or where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right (see "Country-specific rules" below).
We will not issue refunds where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
This Refund Policy does not affect your rights where the service is not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose (see "Refunds for technical or product defects" below).
Refund requests must be made within the applicable statutory or discretionary period described below. If we issue you a refund in accordance with this Refund Policy, access to the corresponding paid features will cease.

12.2. Country-specific rules

Where local consumer protection laws grant unconditional "withdrawal" rights, those rights apply and override this Refund Policy. Where regional differences apply, we apply the highest standard of protection across the relevant country, as reflected below.
European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom. Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. The right to withdraw applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment under a subscription contract. It does not apply to subsequent subscription payments, except as described next. If a subscription includes a free trial period, then, as soon as that free trial period ends, you will again have a period of 14 calendar days to exercise your right to withdraw. If you completed a transaction in the UK and have an annual subscription, you will have a new period of 14 calendar days to exercise your right to withdraw starting the day the subscription auto-renews for another year. The right to withdraw does not apply to the supply of digital content that has started to be downloaded, streamed, or otherwise used, when you have given express consent to waive your withdrawal rights. To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 14 days from the date of the transaction.
Turkey and Israel. Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 14 days from the date of the transaction.
South Korea, Brazil, and China. Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or service contracts after delivery and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 7 days from the date of the transaction.
Canada. Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or service contracts after delivery and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 7 days from the date of the transaction.
Singapore. Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or services after delivery or first access and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 5 days from the date of the transaction.

12.3. How to withdraw and request a refund

To withdraw, cancel, or request a refund, contact us at support@routing24.com. You can also manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page in your account; your payment receipts include a link to view the transaction and manage your subscription.
If you are eligible, we will process the refund to the same payment method where possible and within 14 days of approving the request. Transaction records are used to verify eligibility and timing but do not override your statutory rights.
If you are not sure of the details of your transaction or whether you are eligible for a refund, contact us at support@routing24.com and we will do our best to help. If a transaction is not eligible for a refund, you may still cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents any further payments from being taken.

12.4. Refunds for technical or product defects

If you experience persistent technical issues with Routing24, or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits as described, please contact us first at support@routing24.com so we can try to resolve the issue or arrange a refund. Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, we will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

12.5. Add-ons and one-time transactions

Add-ons linked to a main subscription expire when the main subscription ends, unless otherwise stated. Refund eligibility for add-ons and one-time transactions follows the same criteria as the main transaction, unless local law provides otherwise. Items that are delivered and fully accessible immediately may be non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.

12.6. Chargebacks and payment disputes

We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback request or a dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider. If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, access to the relevant paid features may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. On receipt of a chargeback or dispute, we and our payment processor (Stripe) provide the payment provider with the relevant transaction details. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.

12.7. Discretionary refunds

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of your transaction date. Submitting a request within this 14-day period does not guarantee a refund. We review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may consider relevant factors including the nature of the purchase, the reason for the request, usage or consumption, and any applicable terms, and we may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request. Any discretionary refund we grant is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future, including for similar requests.

13. Prohibition of Reverse Engineering

You are strictly prohibited from copying, decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or attempting to derive the source code of Routing24, its algorithms, or any component of our service. Any such attempts may result in termination of access and legal action.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Routing24 is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the service's functionality, suitability, or availability. Use of the service is at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

In no event will Routing24 or its representatives be liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our service, including data loss or interruptions. This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Compliance with Applicable Law

Routing24 operates in compliance with both EU and US legislation. We are committed to safeguarding user data and privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

17. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. By continuing to use Routing24 after any changes, you agree to the updated Terms. Please review them periodically.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the EU and the United States. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in these regions.

19. Open Source Licenses

Routing24 integrates certain open-source components and data, which are licensed as follows:
