Install the driver app & settingsCopy link
The driver app is a web app. A shared route link opens in the phone's browser; installing it is optional.
No install requiredCopy link
Drivers tap the link and sign in once. The app is not distributed through an app store and requires no rollout. See The driver's route view for what opens.
Optional: add it to the home screenCopy link
The app can be installed from the browser as a home-screen app:
- On iPhone: open the route in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- On Android: open it in Chrome and choose Add to Home screen (or accept the install prompt) from the browser menu.
What this adds:
- An app icon (R24 Driver) that opens straight to the Routes list.
- Full-screen display without the browser address bar.
- Offline access: routes the driver has already opened keep working without a connection, including in dead zones and underground garages.
The app checks for new versions itself. When one is ready, the driver sees a prompt saying an application update is available; confirming it applies the update.
SettingsCopy link
The gear icon in the top corner of the Routes list (and of any open route) opens Settings.

Controls which app the Open map and Navigate buttons on stop cards hand off to:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Automatic | Apple Maps on iOS, Google Maps elsewhere |
| Google Maps | Always Google Maps |
| Apple Maps | Always Apple Maps |
| Waze | Always Waze |
The setting is stored per phone, so one driver can run Waze while another stays on Google Maps.

Shows who is signed in: the driver's name, email, and data region. The email shown here is the one access checks run against: when a driver reports "You don't have access to this route", compare it with the allow-list in your share dialog. For what the data region means, see Privacy and data handling.
Log out signs the driver out, with a confirmation tap. Signing in with a different email switches accounts, for example from a personal address to the one the planner allow-listed.
